Can I trim it to fit?+
Yes. The 30" and 20" strips trim easily with scissors or a utility knife to match your countertop cutout, so you can customize the fit for your undermount sink opening.
How do I install it?+
No tools, glue or drilling. Wipe the counter edge around your sink with a dry cloth, make sure it's completely dry, press the strips firmly into place along the cutout, and trim as needed. The non-slip grip holds on its own — you're done in seconds.

How long does it last?+
It's built to last: the heat-resistant blend stands up to hot cookware, boiling water and daily kitchen wear without degrading, and you can remove and reinstall it as needed without losing effectiveness.
Which sinks does it fit, and how is it sized?+
It's designed for undermount sinks, where the counter edge overhangs the basin. It ships as 30" and 20" strips that trim easily to match your sink cutout, so it fits most undermount kitchen and bathroom counters.
Does it work on curved edges?+
It's designed for straight edges and rectangular countertop cutouts. The flexible material conforms to slight angles and you can trim the strips to custom lengths, but for highly curved edges it may not be the ideal fit.
What if it slips?+
Make sure the edge is clean and completely dry before applying, press firmly along the entire length, and position the strip with the Counter Guard logo facing up. Very smooth polished stone may need extra pressure. If it shifts, just peel it up and reapply — with no adhesive, you can adjust as many times as you need.
